International Calling Provider Comparison Chart

Picking a international call plan can be confusing. There are countless choices: simple mobile, straight talk, VoIP, apps, calling cards. How do you choose?

Things to consider:

1. Where are you calling from and to most often?
   Not all plans cover all locaations. Before purchasing, make sure that you'll be able to call the countries that you need to call.
2. Are you calling a landline or mobile number?
   Often, landlines are cheaper to call than mobile numbers. Make sure to compare the rates for the number you are calling.
3. What type of plan do you want?
   Do you want a traditional plan where you call on your phone or would you be willing to use an app to receive and place calls? Some providers are providing apps with in-app calling for free or at significantly reduced rates.
